Research Triangle AI Society Launches Inaugural Conference at NC State

On April 19, 2025, the Research Triangle AI Society (RTAI) hosted its first conference at NC State University’s Talley Student Union, marking a significant milestone for the AI community in North Carolina. The event brought together AI experts, enthusiasts, and community leaders to discuss the latest advancements and trends in artificial intelligence.
The conference agenda included a reception and networking session, a keynote presentation, an expert panel discussion, an AI product demonstration, and closing remarks.
Researchers from the community focused on AI played a prominent role in the conference, sharing their insights and research in various AI domains. Notable speakers included:
- Dr. Xipeng Shen: Director of Intelligent Computing, NC State University.
